Description

Snow Canyon is often overlooked. In any other state, where it wasn't overshadowed by the likes of Zion and Bryce Canyon, it would be a national park instead of a state park. But this place is well worth a day trip and is a great place to take kids. This trail runs through a surprisingly vegetated lava field before descending to a wash that parallels the West Canyon Road. The section through the lava field is uneven in places.

The 1.1 is one way, without a climb to the top or down into tubes. Fun family walk. Bring flashlights and watch young kids, not safe without watching. 2.3mi
