Found no real restrictions on the trail but from time to time you can find yourself possibly in someone's backyard. Be careful and keep looking for the trail that is somewhat out there. If you get turned around, follow the creek that will lead you back down to Aspen.

Description

This is an easy trail for the most part, once past the initial climb in the first half mile. There are quite a few switchbacks and offshoots to other trails with ample opportunity to explore around Hunter Creek. Use a trail map or the Hiking Project mobile app to keep your bearings about you.

This trail dead-ends toward the boundary with the Hunter Fryingpan Wilderness, making it an out-and-back unless you turn off on another connecting trail somewhere closer to the trailhead on your return.
