Description

You can access this trail via mass transit from NYC by taking the Port Jarvis metro north line to Sloatsburg and then hiking along Seven Lakes Road to the visitor center, but be mindful of traffic along the way. This trail branches off from the Pine Meadow Trail where the Stony and Pine Meadow Brooks come together. The trail follows Stony Brook to the north, while Pine Meadow stays to the south and east along Pine Meadow Brook. You're never too far from the brook which makes the hike pleasant, but it's best use is probably to combine with other trails to make a loop. The trail ends near the Seven Lakes Road and Sebago Cabins.
