Description

This trail heads through the 42-acre preserve off Chicken Valley Road, owned and managed by North Shore Land Alliance.

A mixture of habitats is encapsulated here, including a pine plantation, undisturbed hardwood forest, and a whimsical meadow which is a joy to watch unfurl every spring. Historically, the fields were farmed but the forest has been undisturbed for the last century.
