Description

This remote section of doubletrack trail leads near the second highest point in the park at Benn Knob, just shy of 3,000 ft. It is more of the same as far as terrain goes for SOMO and links Lower CCC Trail and Raven Rock Trail. Note, the summit of Benn Knob is not on the trail proper, but a short side road will lead you to the summit and the radio tower at the top.
