Description

Grab a map at the Ranger station and start near the Fitness Trail. The numbered trail markers make it easy to find your way along the trails. This trail could be shortened or lengthened by taking a few different routes. This trail includes oak hammocks, sandhill pine, florida scrub, and wetland ecosystems. Deer, birds, and butterflies were abundant.

Flora & Fauna

Wildflowers, birds, deer, tortoises, and plenty more animals and natural Florida surround this trail.

January 2018- high water on part of this trail was challenging to get across. Very enjoyable trail, some ankle deep, dry white sand, along parts.
