Description

Cross the Samish Overlook parking lot and find the trail to the left of the large bike rack. The trail ascends slowly through dark pine and fir forest, passing through at least one recent clear-cut. The duff provides a remarkably soft trail. The trail is used by horses as well, and in several places diverges to horse and hiker-only trails - be aware of signage.
