The Prairie Welcome Trail departs from the Barr Lake Nature Center parking lot. The trail heads into the prairie and features a handful of wildlife observation points for good viewing locations.

Guided tours are available, check with the visitors station for a schedule.

Flora & Fauna

Native and introduced grasses, prairie dogs, and toads can all be seen from the wildlife viewing points.
