This boundary trail is seldom used except for administrative uses and those looking to climb Boulder Ridge. It starts out by parking at the dam at the outlet of Lake Sherburne. Head along the base of the dam at the outlet side until you get to the other side. Once on the other side, you'll need to take the road heading east until the road turns north and an unsigned trail heads southeast.

Follow this trail up through a pleasant forest with no views as it steeply climbs the ridge. You'll come to the park boundary and follow that up for a bit, then continue south.

This entire trip until you get to the top of the ridge is in a dense forest. Once on the top of the ridge and at the end of the official trail, you enter a nice meadow, but once again, the views are very limited.
