Description

This is an intense climb through root-covered trails and steep grade to spectacular views of Southwest Harbor and the Cranberry Islands. If you are brave enough to navigate unpaved roads to the trailhead, nestled near Gilley Field, this trail will not disappoint. Blue markers are easy to find on this beautiful short hike.

Went down with loop on Perpendicular Trail. Very steep requiring baby steps coming down . Many rocks and roots with uneven footing. Enjoyed it! 0.9mi
