Description

Mostly comprised of old ranch road, the trail makes a loop around Wolf Mountain. After you've travelled about three miles you'll reach the most technical and challenging part of the trail. This section continues for approximately a mile of singletrack through a densely wooded area, there are large stones on the trail, so watch your footing.

The trail offers little to no shade but has views of springs and river bluffs. Take a break near mile four and look for Jones Springs. On your way back to the trailhead, don't miss the spectacular views of the Perdenales River from the bluffs.
