Family Friendly Super fun to explore, but very dangerous for small kids.

Description

You'll pass by this short trail while hiking the Coastal Trail: Lands End. DO NOT SKIP IT! In just a short distance you'll have a spectacular overlook of the Golden Gate Bridge, Marin Headlands, and even Point Reyes on a clear day.

The path is badly eroding and quite dangerous. There is a labyrinth at the end of the point if you're into that kind of thing, and plenty of people taking photos, enjoying picnics, and watching the sun set. Most folks turn around at the overlook, but the trail continues down to a small rocky beach below. Swimming is treacherous and not recommended at all.
