Description

This loop is not the only trail here, it is only one option. One can head down to the beach, and hike out along the bluff to the left for many miles as well.

Loop drawn starts in grassy open areas, and travels in and out of trees. The back side of the trail continues along a bluff that drops away to the water. The bluff is by far the most scenic part of the hike, although this length is fairly heavily used.

Due to the proximity of the Wildlife Refuge, some activities are restricted so as not to disturb the various bird species that make their home on the Dungeness Spit.
