Description

Southern trailhead: Exit the I40 at Tramway and head North for 3.7 miles. Turn right onto Comanche Rd NE and follow until it dead ends at the trailhead, about 0.5 miles.

Northern trailhead: Exit the I40 at Tramway and head North for 0.3 miles. Turn right onto Encantado Rd NE for 0.5 miles, then take a slight right onto Oakwood Pl NE for 0.2 miles until it splits. Stay left at the Y until you hit Camion De La Sierra NE. Turn right and follow until you reach a cul-de-sac at about 0.5 miles. Parking is limited.

Trail 365 is the best trail to tour the Sandia foothills. It runs parallel to the ridgeline at the base of the mountains. This lower portion of the trail weaves up and down the slope. This trail is deceptively hilly.
