Overview

This trail is good for some variety in terrain and scenery. There's very light traffic compared to some other trails in RRC.

Need to Know

There's a bathroom at the start/finish, but no water.

Description

Obviously, you can hike this either direction. Going counterclockwise starts you off going downhill on doubletrack with pretty good footing. A nice warm-up for the climb to come.

The middle two miles are probably the toughest because it's uphill on gravel and not as scenic.

The final two miles are the payoff-very scenic, fun switching back and forth on a packed trail, and you finish on a downhill.
