Thumper can be accessed by hiking up Lower Raptor for 2.5 miles. Thumper will be your first right. Cruise down this mellow trail through a beautiful area. It can also be accessed by hiking up the Lime Kiln trail 2.6 miles, then left onto Thumper and continuing up the trail until you reach the junction of Upper Raptor / Lower Raptor. Get out there and pound the dirt, there are many options for extending your outing.
